Mark Wade is a superb Bass player from New York. Leader of the Mark Wade Trio, he has twice been placed in the Downbeat Magazine's Readers Poll and has a 2018 album, Moving Day.

In this episode, we hear about his early beginnings at NYU and Birdland, the birth of the Mark Wade Trio and, of course, his reaction to having been voted amongst the best in the business.
