Sonic Volt, where pure energy collides with raw sound, forged in the heart of DFW, North Texas. We’re the shockwave that happens when Nirvana’s intensity meets the raw punch of punk and the defiant spirit of Hole. Our music is a high-voltage current, delivering a potent blend of melodic grit and electrifying power, igniting every stage with an unforgettable charge.

Sonic Volt sparked to life in summer 2024 when Hope Hendrix and Anthony Delabano, veterans of the North Texas punk scene, connected with the dynamic guitarist Colt Power. Hope, formerly of the early 2000s punk outfit Draven, and Anthony, the powerhouse drummer for the revered greaser punk band Spector 45, felt an immediate, undeniable surge of chemistry with Colt. When a bass player proved elusive, Hope embraced the challenge, learning the instrument in November 2024. This ignition point led to new tracks and reinventions of Hope’s earlier songs, all capturing Sonic Volt’s aggressive, melodic sound and boundless energy
