Detoure became the music alias for solo artist, Conney Z, in 2009, although she has been singing since the early age of 4 at the urging of her father.. “Music is my drug of choice”, Conney quotes often, along with stating that “without it, I have withdrawals and get very moody, so I need my fix every single day”. With that said, when you show up randomly to her house, you will always hear music blasting inside! Her debut album, Anti Exes, was re recorded and released in 2022 and tells the story that most can relate to. Her musical styles is heavily influenced by metal, melodies, and strings, akin to Evanescence Conney has a heart for charity work and has been known to jump in and get her hands dirty to help others, especially domestic violence victims.

After long years of searching, Conney has finally found her band.
