Secondary Markets

• Capital markets are composed of primary and secondary markets.
• Lenders originate loans then sell them to investment entities in the secondary market. This provides lenders with the liquidity to originate more loans.

Debt Yield: Metric used by lenders to in order to evaluate the risk involved in lending money to on to borrower. Calculated by dividing the NOI by the total loan amount.
