- Today is the anniversary of Imam ‘Ali Riza's shahadat (a).
- Imam 'Ali Riza summarized the pillars of character building in a hadith.
- Three important points before discussing the hadith:
- Allah wants us to follow His commandments and emulate His mercy, leniency, and forgiveness.
- We are instructed to follow Prophet Muhammad's sunnah (example).
- We should love and emulate the Ahlul Bayt.
- Imam 'Ali Riza's hadith states that a believer must possess three qualities:
- A quality from Allah: concealing secrets.
- A quality from the Prophet: gentleness towards people.
- A quality from the Imam: patience in financial and physical challenges.
- "Kitmānus sir" means concealing the weaknesses of others, an important trait.
- Practicing "kitmānus sir" is vital in the age of rapid information spread.
- An example of "kitmānus sir" is observed in ṣalatul janāzah (funeral prayer).
- The Prophet Muhammad was described as gentle with people, even in the face of adversity.
- Gentleness is a virtue emphasized by Allah for His messenger.
- The concept of patience ("ṣabr") in financial and physical hardships is a trait attributed to the Imam and is considered a source of strength.
- Ṣabr (patience) is a quality valued in the Imams of Ahlul Bayt.
- Ṣabr is key to success, especially in times of financial challenges and physical illnesses.
