Imam Muḥammad at-Taqi al-Jawād: Historical Context:
- Born in Medina on 10 Rajab 195, died in Baghdad on 29 Dhul Qada 220 at 25.
- Imamat began at age 7 during Mamun's rule.
- Known as at-Taqi (the pious) and al-Jawād (the generous).

- Ability to forsake luxury for faith and values.
- Imam's preference for humble offerings in Medina.
