Fulfilling Qaza of the Deceased; Iddat for Widows; Inheritance; Letters of the 11th Imam - S M Rizvi

- Two types of hadith: verbal and written statements

- Since the 11th Imam was preparing the community for ghaybat, many communications between the Imam and the Shi‘as took place in written forms—letters.

- ‘Allāmah Bāqir Sharīf al-Qarashi, in his biography of the 11th Imam, has quoted 10 letters of various lengths and topics.

- This lecture will look at three such letters on three different issues

- Letters on the topics of Qaza Salat for the deceased, Iddat for widows, and inheritance
