Today on the pod, we're joined by brothers Tom & Ben Grooten. The Grooten family has been a part of New Zealand's FMCG market over the last 40 years, founding and running Dad's Pies and The Baker's Son.

Tom and Ben, as General Manager and Sales Manager respectively, have had an active role in the company for over 8 years. With over 140 employees, the company and Grootens have achieved a lot for their community over last 40 years.

• growing up as first generation New Zealanders, with two very Dutch parents,
• some of the challenges and successes in creating such a business,
