In the first episode of Issues, I sit down with Eric Shaefges, a comic book collector with some keen insights into why we love comics, why they’re so important as a storytelling device, and how some of the best superhero stories aren’t even really about superheroes. We also manage to talk about literary themes, a comic book that is extremely relevant right now, romantic love in stories, and Disney’s Ducktales. It’s 25 minutes of comic booky goodness folks.
