Day- insuku

Monday - uMsombuluko (the day of unfolding)
Tuesday - uLwesibili (the second day - bili = two)
Wednesday - uLwesithathu (the third day )
Thursday - uLwesine (4th)
Friday - uLwesihlanu (5th)
Saturday - uMgqibelo (note the click!)
Sunday - Isonto (which also means 'church')

Uqala isikolo ngomsombuluko – starts school on a Monday
Uhamba ngolwesibili – goes on Tuesday
Ubuya ngolwesithathu- returns on Wednesday
Uvahasha ngolwesine- visits on Thursday
Ushada ngolwesihlanu- marries on Friday
Ubeletha ngomgqibelo- gives birth on Saturday
Usonta ngesonto- worships on Sunday
