Stay Safe, Stay Compliant: Reporting Serious Incidents, Safe Use of Ladders, Cyber Crime, and Employment Law Updates (23rd February 2023)

In this week's ISBA  Bursarcast for the 23rd of February, Leo is joined by Denise Allen, Head of Advice and Guidance to discuss the following:

 - The importance of reporting serious incidents to the Charity Commission and staying compliant with the Office for Financial Sanctions and the Charity Commission's guidelines when delivering humanitarian assistance to Turkey/Syria.

-  We also touch upon the recent HSE updates regarding the safe use of ladders and step ladders at work, and the need to engage appropriately qualified contractors and engineers. 

- Additionally, we explore the importance of being aware of cybercrime, and how to ramp up school-side cyber awareness.

-  Finally, we provide an update on the upcoming changes in employment law, including the Govt's proposed withdrawal of all European Union Laws and the Fire & Rehire code of practice.
