063: Make Space For The Magic

Today we’re talking about making space for the magic in our lives. Instead of being mired down in the boo hoo’s, let’s make space for the fun and the joy and the magic in life.

Who ever said that we can’t have FUN in life? Doesn’t it feel like people just want everyone to be miserable and to wallow in the collective worldly misery? If you’re happy it’s weird,  unusual, or odd or you’re told “what do you have to be so happy about?” Why can’t we make being happy and having FUN normal? Make that the new normal!

We all go through our yucky times- even the most joyful of us do. It takes almost an act of bravery or courage to be joyful when we are in the midst of the chaos. BUT who said we still can’t do it? Why can’t we be joyful, have fun, be happy, and find the magic even though the world seems to be burning down around us? What good does it do to piss and moan about it and complain. Does that make it better? Does that improve your life? I don’t think so.

Sometimes we need to look at how serious the thing that is bringing us down really is. Is it so terrible? Is there some way to flip the script and be grateful or think differently about it? Listen in to my "story of the week" and how I've flipped the script to make space for the magic.
