003 Guest interview with Nicola Huelin

When Nicola Huelin was promoted in her corporate job at 26 and offered a career accelerator training, she accepted wholeheartedly. She loved her job. But then she heard a metaphor that a trainer in that programme shared on the first day of the first week-end and in that moment, she knew that she had to leave the corporate world. Everyone called her crazy. She had everything a woman could dream of in terms of career. She then created her first business that was very successful but completely burnt her out. This experience propelled her on what was going to become her purpose: empowering women. 

Nicola is the first of a series of guests I have interviewed about using your intuition in the decision-making process in their business because it is powerful when we leverage that tool, but no many people know how to recognise their intuition. I feel that the more we share stories of intuition in business, the more it will lift the taboo around it but also the better we will understand our intuition. 

Nicola is the author of the Invisible Revolution, which has been featured in the top ten business books written by women by the Independent.
