The Blessing of Being Defeated By God

The story of Jacob is a fascinating story in the Bible. At one point in his life, after a series of rebellions and defeats, he literally spends one night wrestling with God. From that point on Jacob walks with a limp, but that defeat changed the trajectory of his life. It was a blessing. Today we will discuss the blessing of being defeated by God. Ultimately, we walk with a limp, marked by Christ, because he bears our scars.
