Episode 28 - V for Varve Dating and SHARP Community Archaeology

In this episode, we go through a varve dating, a powerful tool for absolute dating that surpasses even dendrochronology. Jason also will introduce you to the Sedgeford Historical and Archaeological Research Project (SHARP), a great example of community archaeology. Since the 1990's, SHARP has been excavating at an Early Medieval cemetery in Norfolk.
