More than just spewing antisemitic tropes and stereotypes, Kanye actually said things that threaten violence. That’s important, and there’s been lots of backlash. It’s especially significant to discuss this the week of the anniversary of the 1938 violent antisemitic pogrom known as Kristallnacht, where words became violent actions that set a foundation for the Holocaust.
