On this week's programme my guest was Professor Elizabeth Wood, from the University of Sheffield. She was in Ireland as a guest of the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment. She presented a keynote address at their conference on 24 November titled Early Mathematics is Surprisingly and Cognitively Fundamental.
