Episode 145 of the InGoal Radio Podcast, presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports, features Dallas Stars goaltender Ben Bishop.
In the feature interview, presented by Sense Arena, Bishop talks about his development as a goaltender including the fact that he didn’t have a goaltending coach until college and how that may have helped him learn to read the game at such a high level. He also talks about all the coaches since then who have influenced his game, including Corey Hirsch the man he credits with getting him to play a more conservative depth and to rely on his size. Bishop has played with many partners with such a variety of styles and shares his thoughts on many of them from Vasilevskiy to Quick, Khudobin and now Holtby.
