Melanie Ng is a news anchor, reporter for City News Toronto and Breakfast Television, having covered stories for over a decade. Melanie shares stories from her startling wakeup time (it's 2:30 am) to important topics such as representation and microagressions. She tells of her start in PR, switching to journalism, and having her first gig as a traffic reporter in a helicopter and needing to take an anti-nausea pill each time. Outside of her career, Melanie speaks candidly about her struggles getting pregnant, what that looked like in tandem with her job, and how it made her a better reporter.
