Thomas Harding - The House by the Lake

In this interview, writer and journalist Thomas Harding talks to Nikki Gamble about The House by the Lake, a children's version of his adult nonfiction with the same title. Thomas talks about his family history and the rediscovery of the house that had belonged to his grandparent before the Second World War when they were forced to flee Germany for fear of persecution. The story uncovers the history of the house from that time to the present day.
