Sophie Evans & Lauren Samuels both appeared on Over The Rainbow (BBC) back in 2010, finishing in second and third place.
After Over The Rainbow, Sophie went on to star as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium. She made her Broadway debut in Michael Flatley’s Lord Of The Dance and most recently starred as Glinda in the West End production of Wicked.
Lauren made her West End debut as Sandy in Grease with her other West End credits including playing Scaramouche in We Will Rock You and Jules in Bend It Like Beckham. During the pandemic she made her directorial debut when she helmed and starred in a digital revival of The Last Five Years.
Sophie & Lauren are currently preparing to release an album together "Chasing Rainbows, Finding Judy" featuring some of the Judy Garland music they performed on Over The Rainbow, as well as some of their favourite Judy songs.
"Chasing Rainbows, Finding Judy" is released on Friday 16th July. Their latest single 'Get Happy' is out TODAY and you can see them back at Live At Zedel on Tuesday 27th July at 9pm.
