Keith and Laura had a Family Movie Night. There was popcorn, treats, mic drops and a few tears. But first, they discuss Parents Night Out! 🎉 Laura and Keith experienced live music, intentionally, for the first time in four years. There will be more Parent's Nights to come.
In the heart of this episode, the couple digs into the Barbie movie and what resonated. Laura says it best, "I think it was also about life, it was about leadership and it was about showing up in the world as you, and trying to navigate your way as your true self."
Barbie highlights historical inequities by contrasting typical gender roles. Identities and experiences inform how we move through the world. Systemic changes are needed to serve and support more people.
Thanks for joining us.
Spoiler Alert: Family Movie Night - Episode 11
Weirdness is going to give Keith and Laura the advantage in making a change.
