Different conversational types serve different purposes, and understanding them is key.

  1. Transactional (Level I): These exchanges are about sharing information, characterised by low trust levels.
  2. Positional (Level II): The aim is to influence perspectives, with trust being conditional and power dynamics at play.
  3. Transformational (Level III): In this realm, co-creation and open sharing thrive within a backdrop of high trust.

Choosing the appropriate level depends on context and purpose.
