Approaching others can be challenging, filled with uncertainty and potential consequences. Engaging in difficult conversations or intervening in risky situations requires courage and careful consideration. The emotions that arise from rejection and self-doubt can impact future interactions, making it even more difficult to approach others.

In this episode, we explore ineffective approaches such as sarcasm, manipulation, blame games, and violence, highlighting their detrimental effects on relationships while emphasising the importance of authentic communication and active listening. Planning interventions, asking open-ended questions, and actively listening to the responses are suggested as practical strategies for approaching others.
