What's The Big Deal About Jesus?

Have you ever wondered about Jesus before? I mean, what’s the big deal with this guy anyway? People say He claimed to be God. And what about all of the other religions who claim to have a path to God and enlightenment? There are Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists and polytheists. Then there are all the strict rules and demands that get associated with Jesus. But, What if Jesus IS who he says he is? Forgiving, full of love, strong, son of God, savior and friend? A relationship with someone like that just might change your life! But what if I told you, Jesus really is exactly who He claimed to be? Would you be willing to set aside your preconceived ideas and view Him with a fresh perspective…even for just a few minutes? Jesus was a REAL person! Within a few years after Jesus’ life on earth, there were already dozens of written accounts by Roman, Jewish, and Christian Historians of his life. Jesus performed countless miracles during his time on the earth. Jesus claimed he came to give his life for us. All the other so called “paths to God” focus on what we have to do to be good enough to be accepted by God. But Jesus turned this thinking on its head because He knew we could never be good enough! See, God is the standard of what is good. If it were possible for us to be “good enough” on our own, then we wouldn’t need Jesus or anyone else. He lived a perfect life and sacrificed his perfect life for us. True love ALWAYS gives! Jesus came to give. THAT sounds like true love. Now, that’s good news! He is ALIVE! And He cares about every detail of your life. Jesus is the all powerful God of the universe, and He is amazingly passionate about you personally! He simply wants you to let him, to walk in a relationship with Him, and let Him show you the way to living a blessed life.
