Jesus, The Greatest Love Story You'll Ever Hear

One of the best ways to learn about Jesus is by reading the Bible. The stories in the Bible span over 1500 years! Jesus shows up on the scene and things get REALLY exciting! But what if I told you, that ALL of the Bible—from cover to cover is really one BIG love story about a Father, His Son, and the people they so desperately love! Isaiah says that God declares the end from the beginning, He knew exactly what he was doing. He loved us, even then, before the beginning, knowing that sin would get in the way. AND…He chose us anyways! The thing is, for true love to exist, there also has to be the opportunity for hurt and rejection to exist. He knew this, but it didn’t stop him! At every turn in the Bible, God was there reminding His people that a Messiah would come to deal with that sin, the sin that kept us separated from God! His sacrifice would permanently deal with the separation! For most people it’s really easy to embrace God, because he is some distant figure. But God is more than that! He laid down the life of his ONLY son. He is a servant who would climb down from his throne to die for his friends and even all those that would reject him. That is a whole OTHER kind of love and it changes EVERYTHING! Jesus came to live the life we couldn’t live, to die the death we should have died. Yes,he paid for our sins and closed that gap of separation once and for all, but he came for SO MUCH MORE! He wants relationship with YOU! He came to give us access to the relationship with God we were created for! A life lived in oneness with God is a really fun life! Yes, we will deal with hard things, and yes we may mess up from time to time…but His LOVE is NEVER ending! His love is non judgmental, His love is freely poured out for all to receive. God loves you!
