Have you ever felt anxious about sharing your faith in Jesus with others? Don’t worry! We’ve all been there. Rest assured that in your uneasiness you can share Jesus with others by simply being kind, listening, and loving others. You can also share what Jesus has done for you, because He is your source of joy, peace, and confidence. He is your rock and hope in times of trouble. You have His love, and you have Holy Spirit! This means you have answers for people feeling lost in this spinning, shaking, and breaking world. His name is Jesus and he is what people need. But, how are you supposed to share Him with others? You can do this by allowing what’s inside of you to show on the outside and by consistently loving the people around you. This allows you to build trust and safety in your relationships. When people trust and feel safe with you, they become vulnerable and express their struggles and pain. It is in this place you can show empathy, kindness, and comfort. The key is compassion! The people around you are waiting to hear about Jesus. When you persist in loving the people around you, this compassion is able to melt hearts and change minds. Sharing Jesus is a lifestyle. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you see Jesus in the people around you. Ask him to begin showing you what people need AND how you can show them love, then be sensitive to what He says. Keep in mind, your job is just to show up and love people. Jesus will take care of the rest. Jesus is your helper! - Psalms 46:1 (ESV) - God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Jesus has plans for you! - Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT) - For I know the plans I have for you, “says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jesus’s kindness will melt your heart! - Romans 2:4 (TPT) - Do the riches of his extraordinary kindness make you take him for granted and despise him? Haven’t you experienced how kind and understanding he has been to you? Don’t mistake his tolerance for acceptance. Do you realize that all the wealth of his extravagant kindness is meant to melt your heart and lead you into repentance?
