"What we need is a revolution driven by a philosophy of personal activism"

Meg Lee Chin is a visionary of the underground, DIY music and culture scene.

One of her early bands was Teknofear with Becky Wreck of Lunachicks and then Crunch who were one of the first Western bands to tour Ukraine shortly after the Soviet Union dissolved. Brilliant stories!

Meg is probably best known for her work with Pigface. She appeared on their 1997 LP "A New High in Low" as well as its follow-up, "Below the Belt".

She released her solo debut "Piece and Love" in 1999 which was critically acclaimed as a forerunner in the home studio revolution.

She has used her educational background and practical experience in music, art and video production and tech to support humanity, resistance, equality and individual empowerment, and all the while with counter-culture and personal activism pretty much playing lead roles.

Her DropUMentary England’s Mask is a series of 4 short films exploring the state of play in Britain, in particular why it is in danger of losing its creativity and innovation and needs to change its trajectory and revalue its biggest asset – its people.
