Are you wondering if the Oscar Nod was for the totally gnarly story of a Mannequin coming to life and inspiring a young artist to make the most bitching department store window displays, or if it was for the wicked and totally radical acting? It was neither. It was for the movie's original song, which if said out loud, would be so “barf me out” and “grody” that you’d “gag on a spoon”.
