Two college seniors reflect on their soccer careers ft. Kam Vanderbosch and Sarah Woods | I Hate Soccer #46

Sarah Woods is a midfielder from Lewiston, New York, majoring in Health and Human Services and starting for the University at Buffalo since her freshman year earning MAC All‑Freshman Team honors in 2022 and Academic All‑MAC recognition in subsequent seasons. Her breakout junior season saw career highs in goals (2), assists (4), points (8), and shots (27), all while continuing to excel academically with Academic All‑District honors.

Kam Vanderbosch is a standout center back for Siena College’s women’s soccer team from Lancaster, New York, where she has been a three-year starter and was named a two‑time team captain and Third Team All‑MAAC honoree—anchoring a defense that helped the Saints record their most clean sheets in six years while logging over 1,700 minutes last season. Off the field, she has earned consistent academic recognition—including spots on the MAAC All‑Academic/Honor Roll and a Leo Dufort Student‑Athlete of the Month award—while pursuing her studies in accounting and preparing for a future in law enforcement.
