Kitty Stryker - part 1 of 2

There's a bit of swearing in this episode because Kitty and I get very passionate about consent and what it means to us.

Kitty Stryker is one of the originators of the concept of 'consent culture', and has authored/edited 2 books on it already: "Ask - Building Consent Culture" and "Ask Yourself - The Consent Culture Workbook". I (Jenn Wilson) am a contributor to the second one and Kitty's new book "Say More" which is aimed at younger people is coming out in 2024.

We talked so much we needed 2 episodes - in the first we mostly wrestle with what consent is, what it means, and the nuance around how we apply consent practice in different contexts. This episode ends on a cliffhanger, but don't worry because the second part is coming later today... it's so stimulating hearing someone who is dedicated and immersed in their subject talk about it.
