As we grow into adulthood and progress through life, many of us start to better understand that a blueprint for success does, in fact, exist. That’s not to say that the blueprint shows us the exact steps we need to take to live the life we want, but rather it shows us how to do the inner work needed to reach success.
In today's episode, I talk about three things that I believe are crucial to being able to get what we want out of life: energy, effort, and courage. Three simple words that hold a magnitude of power. I discuss how each of these words has applied to my life as well as the lives of three monumental and influential African American women: Mary McLeod Bethune, Anna Julia Cooper, and Septima Poinsette Clark.
