#HAWSTL 045 - BRISTOL DIARIES: UNI MOVING-IN DAY

Hello you! Well, a massive day yesterday. A day that most parents are building up to from the day their babies are born. A day of high emotion, mixed feelings, stress, heartache, pain, sadness, grief... The lot. A slightly longer pod today because there was a lot to talk about. We start with Lorra in tears, as the weight of er first morning with her boy hit home. We also talked about...

• The comfort of Radio 2.

• The default direction for stirring.

• Leo getting up early for once... And his nerves.

• Packing the car.

• An emotionless teen cottage goodbye.

• Bristol and outrageous NCP parking fees.

• A digs fly-by that lead to frustration.

• The Slug & Lettuce and a nerves-poo.

• The first drop-off, moving him in and Leo's room.

• The Tesco/Ikea split.

• Lorra & Leo's Tesco tension.

• Back to the flat & the food drop-off.

• Getting kicked-out by a (once again) emotionless teenager.

• Lorra's feelings as we walked through Bristol.

• The therapy of meeting up with fellow Dubai parents.

• The world's worst busker.

• Letting slip a big secret.

• Bristol at night.

• A dark, spooky drive home.

Again, a very strange feeling as we sit here this morning. We feel sad, a bit flat, a little lost... But as we type this, Betsy Pearl is singing upstairs and, as ever, is bursting with life, so she'll get us through and hopefully we can shake these feelings and emotions and make a go of these last few days.
