Matt and Jessica thought that buying a home would be an opportunity for a fresh and positive start. What ended up happening was Ann coming after Matt for more child support because in her mind it wasn’t fair that he was able to take that next step.
This led Matt and Jessica needing to get really clear on their boundaries as they navigated the storm to come. They struggled to agree on custody terms as well as what school the kids should go to. Because of the custody arrangement, the kids had a hectic schedule.
They talk about what life was like during this time and the emotions they felt as they went through that difficult time.
