It seems the constant lesson to be learned through this season of Matt and Jessica's life is boundary setting. In this episode, Matt and Jessica are back into a routine with the kids but continually deal with the stress of having Ann's frequent interference. 

Jessica is accused of withholding food from the kids, leaving her hurt and frustrated. She struggles with determining where she should set her boundaries and the decision of what caretaking responsibilities make the most sense for the family.
