First published in 1837, Charles Dickens Pickwick Papers, his tales of Mr. Pickwick and his Pickwick Club, were in fact set ten years earlier. Laurence Olivier stars as Sergeant Buzfuz, counsel for Mrs. Bardell in her action against Samuel Pickwick for Breach of Promise of Marriage.
