dattrax: HiYaAAA Fellow House Freaks!! I hope you're all well and doing what you can each day to better yourselves.Whatever you're going through, it will pass and you can displace negative with music. This mix is 'smooth as butter'... as the saying goes. This mix took three attempts in order to get the right feel. In search of that elusive perfect mix that never happens. Sometimes the first take is fantastic. Usually, it can take up to 12 attempts. Yes, DJing for 30yrs and still making tons of mistakes. LMAO. I've always made mixes for my enjoyment and fulfillment first, then for my best friend and DJ partner (when we DJ at live events), Jimmy Zoo. We grew up together loving house music (met in our late teens), going out dancing, DJ'ing and we were crazy "Black Crack"/vinyl record junkies. House was and is our release from our shitty jobs and life.If someone outside of us two like our mixes, then that's a bonus, so thank you for visiting us here.Any track that we bought that we loved and had never heard of before was "new" to us regardless of when it actually came out. It was always about the combinations. Endless, fun, and sometimes inspiring and magical. The right tracks on top of each other or in any way that it's mixed. It's beautiful. I have a personal rule to never repeat a mix combination. I've only broken that a handful of times. One of Jim and I's favourite house music DJs is Derrick Carter because his mixing style is so interesting and unique. His combos are surprising and delightful. He could play out of our collection of tracks and because of how he selects tracks and mixes, the mix will have his sonic signature. The same can be said for many good house DJs.All the best to you as always.---------------Reach out to us and comment if you've enjoy our mixes.Just Google 'dattrax' and find all places online that we've been a part of.Please share with your family, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances who could use a dose of musical candy.Isn't music such a great escape?---------------DJ Bookings for Canada, the US, or Global: [email protected] amount of support would be appreciated if you'd like to donate or support our music addiction.
