To our house friends who are returning, we say thank you very much and we hope that you've been well since your last visit. Some DJ thoughts:Life is full of struggles and brief glimpses of joy, love, respect, celebration, and true happiness. We wish you all the positive to continue and if you're in your winter/valley, then we wish it to be shorter and that you climb out of it. Your voice needs to rebuild and shine again or start to shine.House music has always been therapy and my outlet for my emotions, especially when it's negative. I've been going through a ton of stuff, so I spend more time going through tracks, listening to tracks, and mixing them. It's always been a relaxing, releasing, and refreshing time spent when I just spend hours finding tracks that match the mix that I'm imagining. Then hours mixing. Hours listening to the mixes. Then another attempt if I don't like the feel, made mistakes or it's not a mix that I love. I mean, I don't want to listen more than once. Back to the drawing board. A few more attempts, then if I don't have a final version, then I'll take a break and move on to another special mix. Then come back to finish another time when I'm in the mood. So many came out lately in Mar and Apr because I was working through four different mixes in Nov and Dec because that Dec mix took 12 attempts. I've never done that much jumping around before.[You can find that Dec mix here:hOuSe MuSiC iS tHe aNsWeR » StRiCtlY HoUse mUsIchttps://www.podomatic.com/podcasts/dattrax/episodes/2021-12-09T10_19_53-08_00 ]Then with each mix, I learn something new that I apply to the next mix. Or to another mix that I left because I was stuck or got bored of the grouping of tracks. ---------------Reach out to us and comment if you like or love our mixes.
