Jeff Ricklefs is a professional handler in the rapid-fire world of competition coonhounds. From his home base in northern Indiana, Ricklefs has traveled the nation, wherever coonhound competitions are held, to handle some of best-known and biggest-winning hounds in the history of the sport. Over the past 25 years or more he has handled what could easily pass for a competition coonhound Who’s Who including truck winner Hardwood Henry, Bad Habit, Mr. Clean, Bellar Ann, Wipeout Clayton, Wild Bill Mayhem and many more. 

In this episode, Steve breaks down a career in which Ricklefs has posted $315,000 in handler earnings, placing him sixth on the PKC all-time leading handler’s list.
