Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Indianapolis

Taylor Swift's highly anticipated 'Eras Tour' has kicked off its three-night stop in Indianapolis, marking the final U.S. leg of the tour. The concerts are being held at Lucas Oil Stadium, with the first night setting an attendance record for a concert at the venue. Thousands of fans, known as Swifties, have filled the streets of downtown Indianapolis, participating in pre-concert activities such as 'Taygating,' trading friendship bracelets, and enjoying Taylor Swift-themed events. Fans have traveled from various states, including Washington and Wisconsin, to attend the concerts. The tour, which began on March 17, 2023, in Glendale, Arizona, will conclude with shows in Toronto and Vancouver, Canada, ending on December 8. The city of Indianapolis has embraced the event with numerous Swift-themed activities, including events at the Indianapolis Zoo, Victory Field, and the Indianapolis Children's Museum. Road closures and special rideshare zones have been implemented to manage the large crowds.

The concerts feature opening acts, including pop singer Gracie Abrams, and official merchandise is available at designated locations. The city is expecting around 200,000 people to attend the events over the weekend, with 60,000 attending each night at Lucas Oil Stadium and an additional 40,000 participating in downtown festivities.
