I remember that day very well. I was sitting on the playground outside in our backyard, and my mom looked at me and said, “Kaitlyn, how would you like to stay home and be homeschooled?” I was absolutely thrilled. It was such an exciting experience for me to be able to choose my own destiny and to be able to really learn about things that were passionate to me. I loved learning about music and science.
