Despite her global influence, we really didn't think we'd ever have an episode of the Music News that looks so closely at Taylor Swift. Alas, here we are.

News broke on Friday that Swift had purchased the rights to her first six albums following years of dispute, re-recording and discussion around the rights artists ought to have over their own work. Meanwhile, Aussie icon Pete Murray has followed Taylor Swift's lead and begun re-recording the early hits that he doesn't own.
