Spotify to reward top fans with exclusive ticket sales - but is this cause for concern? | Music News

In this rambling episode of the Music News, Cam and Eamonn discuss Spotify's new partnership with EAG and Sabrina Carpenter to give exclusive ticket access to top fans ahead of her Short N’ Sweet US tour in September.

Cam starts by declaring he was considering leaving Spotify, but the lack of alternatives, plus a good user experience is what kept him on the streaming service.

Eamonn meanwhile is concerned about Spotify being introduced to the ticketing market, as they could soon become a service too big and too powerful to provide any competition for.

We also manage to sneak in a couple of shorter news updates, including the NSW Budget and guess what...a recommendation of a new report after doing...yep, a report!
