Born to the name Fiona Damme in Mielenhausen, a small village near Göttingen, Germany, it wasn’t until moving to Canada that Fiona Fossil was unearthed. This love affair started in 1996, and soon after she started to play out in Canada and the US. First just playing records and later adding a more live element by playing along with the saxophone.
