Avs trade for Ryan Lindgren, pick up two dominant wins after Nichushkin's return - S5

The Avalanche have made another trade, acquiring Ryan Lindgren and Jimmy Vesey from the New York Rangers in exchange for Calvin De Haan, Jusso Parissinen, and a 2nd/4th round pick in this years draft. Where does Lindgren fit into the lineup, and is this even a good deal for the Avs? The Avs also dominated the first two games of their six game homestand after the return of Val Nichushkin to the lineup, outscoring New Jersey and Minnesota 10-3 in their wins. Colorado looked like a completely different team with Val back, is he the most important player on this roster?
