441. Intendant Duchesneau

New France’s fourth Intendant, Jacques Duchesneau de la Doussinière et d'Ambault, chevalier (1631-1696), held the position from 1675 to 1682. His term was marked by a multitude of quarrels with Governor Frontenac.
