Backpacking New Zealand's Te Araroa Trail with Patrice La Vigne

Patrice La Vigne and her husband Justin trekked New Zealand's Te Araroa trail over 2014-15. In this episode, Patrice shares some background about the hike itself, figuring out the logistics and some of her favorite memories of Kiwi hospitality.

Patrice is an author, thru-hiker, Leave No Trace trainer and advocate, and backpacker who lives a life less ordinary with Justin. Currently they are based in Alaska.
