Myths of Art History P1: The Myth of the Male Genius

The first of many art historical myths in this new series will be tackled in our new episode, “The Myth of the Male Genius”, dropping tonight! We will be tracing the myth from its origins in antiquity, through Linda Nochlin’s revelatory 1971 essay on why exactly there have been no great female artists, to how the myth plays out in various industries today.
