We’re finally dropping our long-awaited episode on Edward Curtis’ photography and issues of “authenticity” in art and art history! Though Curtis’ own life story—and that very loaded term—are tales worthy of their own episodes, we’re going to be talking about them together in order to highlight how things are not always as they seem in some of the most iconic images of Native Americans, their lives, and their cultures.
