ELLIOTT - Part #2  THE REUNION
This week I had the great opportunity to sit down with Chris Higdon from one of the most pivotal bands in my life . The band was called ELLIOTT  out of Louisville, KY and their sound was like nothing I had ever heard before. When you are trying to find your way in life and struggle to be who you are, you start searching. My search lead me to ELLIOTT. The music spoke to me and conveyed all of the emotion I was feeling at that time in my life. ELLIOTT showed me that I was not alone in my fight to carry on and become the person I am today. ELLIOTT's contribution to the early post hardcore/emo scene can be summed up in one word MONSTROUS!!! It's not often you get the opportunity to tell people what they meant to you and I was lucky enough to do just that this week. Chris shared his stories of growing up and finding his way through the local scene. Chris's recollection of certain moments in his musical career are a must listen, and the moment things came full circle are eerie. Please join me welcoming Chris to the HIDDENTRACKS family.
